Homemade Halloween Costumes

I remember the days when you did not buy your kids Halloween costumes? In contrast, mothers (or children) who make the costumes! Usually, it would be something simple like a ghost or a hobo, and children were satisfied with that. If you had a mother who had a little time and some sewing skills, are sometimes more elaborate. I remember one year our mother brought my brother with a hot dog! Last year was a Christmas tree!

Today, however, children are much more demanding. They want to be the ultimate superhero, or a character in the movie they just saw. It 'a little' too much a mother can do at home. Sometimes they even ask for more costumes, so do not need to show the different parts of the same suit. Store bought costumes, however, is not only expensive, one night of wear, but they lack imagination and creativity. More and more people seem to be back in homemade costumes. The more creative the better!

There are many advantages to make your costume. For one, it is usually much cheaper than buying a costume. A lot of times, you can use the material that you already have at home. Making the costume requires a little 'imagination and creativity to what many kids today are missing out. It 's something that children and parents can do together, and the time together is another thing that does not get much. Homemade costumes are better in the races, too! People are impressed by something you did and you guys are proud to use it.

All you have to do to get some ideas for homemade costumes are great to look around your own home. Do you have sweatshirts and sweatpants? That's half brought you here! There are many things you can do depending on what color they are. They are white? Add some points and become a Dalmatian. With wings and a halo you're an angel! If your clothes are green, finding an old headband and hot glue some "petals" in the court of fun foam. It's a flower! Carried out a brown and can be a dog, or my favorite, a clothesline! My family has won the contest with that one! All you need is two people, sweating game, strings and lingerie fun to hang out in it!

Some other ideas you can do with things we already have is a tired housewife / mother dress, or a hobo or a gypsy. You can just throw together a lot of remains of Halloween past and just be "Halloween." Whatever you do, there is always a hit with a little effort and imagination. You can only have the best costume there! Happy Halloween!
