Fun Halloween Crafts for Kids
In the rush to return to school and daily routines to return to normal, children of all ages are beginning to expect the next big holiday - Halloween. Spooky decorations are appearing on the front lawn, and even young children start to get excited about trick-or-treating. To keep your little ghosts and goblins busy favorite holiday approaches, why not try some of these ideas fun craft?
Pumpkin seed necklace
This is a great activity that can be adapted to different ages - young, the seeds of the painting in advance, and for older children, let the color of its own. Painting of the toasted pumpkin seeds "Halloween" colors (black, orange, green, purple), and using a solid needle (supervising young children for this step) of black cable network heavy cutting long enough to make a necklace.
Ghost Handprints
Use non-toxic white paint on the surface of your cover by hand with fingers held together, your hand, press down to make a hand print on black paper. Cut around the footprints leave a little black around the edges. Black paint "holes" for the eyes and mouth. They can be hung for show Halloween decorations.
Paper plate spider
These silly, scary spiders do a great activity for younger children. Painting the surface of the paper plate black and let dry. Pleated sheet of black cardboard, cut lengthwise into eight strips. Glue one end of each strip on the plate to make spider legs. Glue two googly eyes, or use the broken circles in white paper and a black dot in the middle.
The cereal box Haunted House
The proposed house is perfect for scary older children. Open the top flaps of an empty cereal box and glue the edges together to form a pointed roof. Cut holes for windows and doors, then paint the exterior of the black box. Glue or tape tissue paper in yellow or white "windows" inside the box. Use construction paper, glue, chalk white and other decorative crafts, decorating the outside of the haunted house, making it as scary as possible. Place a small flashlight inside the box and turn it to light up the windows.
There is no end to the fun you can have fun creating Halloween crafts with your children. With a good supply of craft materials and a little imagination, you can come with all sorts of fun decorations, scary.
